Looking for Drupal-based blogs? I'd like to think that mine is pretty good. As well, I created something of interest and use for you if you're using Windows Live Photo Gallery and want to put your photos on a Drupal site.

By using the Image module ( http://drupal.org/project/image ) and my Imgblog module ( http://coldacid.net/system/files/imgblog-5.x-0.x-dev.tar.gz ) it's possible to easily upload photos and even run a photoblog using the Drupal Publisher plugin for WLPG ( http://coldacid.net/project/dplpg ). There's still quite a bit of work for me to do with Imgblog and the plugin, but it works, and well enough to be usable. (I might need to work on Imgblog so it'll work well with Drupal 6.x, however.)

The canon is sweet! I personally decided to go with Nikon but both brands have killer image quality.. Plus its more about knowing your settings anyways right? Ahh.. fstop, iso, aperature.. those are the things that really make a good photographer.. one of my tricks for the club is lowering the shutter down to 5-8 at f5.6 and standing real still for portraits.. usually it gives them a really saturated and colorful look!

if you want plz check out some of my event photos and portraits

Drupal is pretty cool. My site runs on it. Drupal seems to be a little more flexible when it comes to dishing out your content. Its better as a more rounded platform than WordPress in my opinion. A buddy of mine got in on the Win 7 beta. I'm curious to see if there is any difference, now that they've begun to abandon Vista.

I love drupal...billeater.com is built on Drupal. It's got a great architecture where it's easy to over-ride the default behavior, and a huge set of user-contributed modules. Be sure to check out the taxonomy, views, and login-tobaggan modules. ( lots more, but those three were three of my favorites )

Feel free to drop me a note if you get stuck on something.

hey K,
Congrats on the sweet camera. She's a beauty. When it comes to photography, I'm a point and shoot kind of guy, so no advice here. I know enough to admire good photographers though. It is art (and a bit of magic I think).
As to Windows 7, I have heard that in Microsoft's push to get it out (since Vista isn't doing so well), that they have just "re-skinned" Vista and it's not much new. I hope that isn't the case since I still have XP and I'm waiting on 7.
Congrats again on the new camera. Are you going to post some pics you've taken?

I tried going to the website for the windows 7 hehe, but I don't think I will be able to download it. I am guessing I needed to singup for some mailing service or something, because I don't see any download options hehe.

I am not much of an expert when it comes to drupal unfortunately. But I always do wonder myself the key differences between wordpress and drupal.

I like that rule about taking a photo of your new camera when you get one. I hope you did that with your new Canon.
