What is their payment method (can’t find it on their faq)? I’m doing quite good with another aff. network but they send the payment trough check. It will take too long, 1 month for the check to arrive and 1 month for the money to arrive at my bank account. I’m not from US. Paypal will be faster.

I’ve tried a few different affiliate networks and had various degrees of success – mostly zero success admittedly!

I’ve got signed up with Pepperjam and I keep hearing good things, but I really struggle to find related products/stores – or maybe I’m not thinking in the right way?

Some of you have higlighted some of the problems associated with monetising your sites too early. Even owners of established blogs shy away and, in this example, partialy apologises for it. Why? There should be no need to, afterall, it is the major driving force behind this online industry. I for one will look into the affiliate network.

Troy, it looks really promising at the moment. But, only experimenting will tell if it’ll fit a blog’s personality or not. I’ll give it a month to see what kind of results I get and start over with another program if this doesn’t work for me. After all that’s the fun of blogging right. Constantly experimenting and improving and learning as we go.

I’ve tried monetizing my blog with AdSense and AdBrite, but so far no success that’s been enough to get me a check, so I’m worried about putting more ads up that will just sit there. Based on your experience of this network (and I know it’s new), do you think it would be something that’s worth checking out at this point?

Kris, thanks for stopping by. I love the PJNetwork interface.. very nice work with it and looking forward to seeing more advertisers that would fit the ‘tech blog’ category although I like the one’s there right now.

Mark.. that’s very true about the advertisers that would fit a blog. Thanks for commenting on the look buddy.. it is getting there but now I am looking at changing the front page to a magazine style layout. I think that’ll be a fun exercise plus a useful feature.

Rakshit.. monetizing a blog is fun. I put off monetizing for the first 8 months of my blog’s inception but then i finally started out with just Adsense. In 2 months, it paid enough cover a year’s hosting and I’m a happy camper. Now, I am venturing further with other options and PepperJam is one of them. Thanks in advance for using the referral link.

Till now, I haven’t put up any advertisements on my blog. But sooner or later, I will surely do that.

I, too, am excited about Pepperjam. Not only do they have a nice and growing collection of advertisers, but those advertisers I believe are more compatible with my blog and some others I frequent. Additionally, some of these advertisers offer handsome lead generation compensation, which is better than PPC, but not as difficult as hoping for someone to make a purchase.
