The touchmods team has released the SIP-VoIP program for the iPod Touch which will allow the iPod Touch Touch to make phone calls over WiFi connection using the voip technology.. now iPod Touch is one step nearer to iPhone

Kyle.. I guess the GBs get eaten up pretty fast with the video iPods which double as a personal video player while traveling. I have been pretty happy with 2GB capacity in my Sony Ericsson but I can see myself using up 16GB with videos in iPod Touch if I ever got one.

Wow, what are you guys going to do with all those GB? I’ve had an iPod for 4 years now (a few different models), use it at least 6 hours a day, and still only have about 1 GB on it.

I did see a iPod Touch video which got me all excited about it. They have also confirmed its an iPhone without the phone. It has all the applications, cover flow, etc.

@Kenny.. welcome to ShanKri-la and thanks for taking the time to comment.

I haven’t used the regular iPod with 30G & 60G capacities. But, I can see how one can get spoiled by it. I bought my computer with 120GB hard drive and I thought I’d never need more 2 years back. Now, I am constantly deleting stuff to keep it under 120.

Still can’t get over the fact that it’s only 16gig. I’ll get it once they up it to 30.
