It looks awesome! I've never heard about this anti-malware toolkit before, which is weird since I keep an eye on what's going in PC security field. The feedback from my hub readers shows that the anti-malware market is changing rapidly - there are no more rave reviews of Lavasoft, fewer people are content with SpyBot Search & Destroy (partially because there's a fake program with similar name), and Virtumonde victims find Malwarebyte's the only effective removal tool. hey K,
I saw this under your related or random posts. I use AVG and have for years. I thought I was covered, then about 3 weeks I got the Vundo trojan virus. I thought I was ok with AVG, but it slipped by and AVG couldn’t take care of it. Anyway, based on the recommendation of another blogger, I downloaded and used malwarebytes.org’s program. It ROCKS. It took two or three scans (and a lot of stress) but it cleaned up the mess. Anyway, I’m a huge fan of AVG and now Malwarebytes. The key is, as you point out, to do regular scans. Thanks for a great post!

Protect and clean your PC.
When searching for an antispyware scanner that will protect and clean your PC it can get a little confusing. There are so many available it’s hard to know which one will work the best. If you’re like me, you’ve probably tried a variety of them all and found they basically all find the same types of bugs. Through my experimenting I’ve found that the antispyware solution from Search-and-destroy at search-and-destroy works the best. Search-and-destroy cleans and protects my computer just as good as any scanner, it gets rid of those nasty bugs and it does it all for less than many of the others available.

i generally prefer formatting my c: drive once in a while to keep my pc free from all malwares and stuff:-)
But still,i have downloaded the software from here,cos coming from you it gotta be worth it.

I tend to only add software that has no toolbars and meets a certain standard of quality to the lists. I also feel that it should be very user friendly so no user feels overwhelmed.

This is a great find! It looks like a handy toolkit for any IT guy to have on hand. I know many businesses could benefit from someone sweeping all their computers with this.

This is a must – I am a computer tech guy and like you, I keep a lot of programs on a flash drive, some work for some malware and not others and it can be a pain to keep all up to date.

I check my computer quite often as its amazing how quickly you can get some nasties slowing down your computer!
