Web Developer is a nice one also. Very convenient way to look at the structure of a web page and do lots of web development related activities to your own website.

I'll be sure to check out that AutoSlideShow extension - I've used Pic Lens in the past, but found a few annoying bugs with it (it crashed a lot for me), so will see if this one works any better.

Thanks!

Thanks for this, ReminderFox looks like something I've been needing for a while...I'm completely hooked on the extensions though, my contextual menu is getting ridiculous

Unplug is pretty sweet. I've been using download helper for a while, but unplug seems like it's going to win me over.

I just found out about one today called YSlow, that was developed by Yahoo. It tests your site to see how fast/slow it loads and tells you what you need to do to fix it so that the algorithms won't penalize you for a slow load time. Not sure if you've covered it already, but just giving you a heads up just in case.

Great info. I love the FF browser and the many plugins that are available to us to use. I have used many of them but the most recent one that I have downloaded is "FireShot". Screen capture that saves any portion of a webpage as an image. Also, there is a new beta version of FF out for trial. Pretty cool.

Thanks for the auto shutdown plugin. I have a large tendency for downloading large files over night and forgetting to shut down my computer in the morning and then coming home the next day from work and seeing the computer still on.

Memo.. you are welcome.. I like it as well.Grant.. thanks for the kind words! Will be back with more extensions next week. I keep finding these little gems. :-)Tracy, welcome to ShanKri-la and thanks for taking the time to comment! I had used WLW before and still consider it as one of the best Windows application. As you said, ScribeFire could be handy tool for those on Firefox and if you didn't need the advanced features for blogging.Forest, nice to see you again. I might have a an extension suggestions for you.

InformEnter - it does not have drag and drop support but you could have your name, email, blog url or any other data saved. Then you activate it with a button in status bar. This will give you a little hover button by the form field and you can click that to choose the data you want filled. Worksvery well for me. It supports multiple profiles - so one for each of your blog, one for personal like filling out shipping address, etc - the sky is the limit.

Hey,

I'm looking for a little plugin that would give me an icon or side tab in Firefox where I could store lines of text for easy dragging onto pages! Have you ever heard of such a thing?

For example I could store my blog domains and just drag the relevant one to a comment section when needed!

I think I may look into working out how the hell I would write it, if I can't find it...

Just found your site and it looks great. I'm going to spend some time trolling around!

On topic, I have used the Scribefire extension and like it. I have just recently started using Windows Live Writer because of its integration with NewsGator. Not quite as simple and straightforward as Scribefire, though.
