Claire, thanks for the input on Sitkkit. Never tried it but sounds like an useful one aside from the bug you saw. Just sent you an invite as well.

Zath, you are right that bookmarks only help so far. I do use Evernote – a supercharged Google Notebook alternative for my personal note taking. Since I dont have to share it with anyone, it fits my needs but Webnotes could be a better fit for those looking to collaborate with others! Glad to see your comment, buddy!

Is this service similar to Google Notebook then? – I’ve never used that, but keep meaning to, but never get round to it.

I think I probably need something to better organise my webpages, local bookmarks don’t do it, neither do social bookmarking services, might have to look into this some more!

Hello: It would be great to be invited to join webnotes. PS: an interesting aside. Stikkit was similar, and it just “closed” went out of business, though it is forever, until I figure it out, on my computer. It had a feature that I used with FireFox “reminder notes” to share calendar info. but now I always get a popup dialogue box asking my stikkit username/password – have tried deleting it from LastPass (firefox) but no luck. This Webnotes appears much safer for computer desktop use. thanks again. hope to get an invite. Claire
