It’s Election Day here in the US today and is probably one that’s going to make history. If you are voting today and proudly display the ‘I Voted’ pin, you are getting rewarded with a bunch of freebies from various places today.

If you are wondering how presidential elections work in US, check out the video in the link. It couldn’t be explained better.

Here are a few that stand out:

Plus, there are tons of other local establishments that offering freeebies for those who voted. Check out this Wiki page at Slickdeals.net to find if there is any local places that offer you a snack or two.

If you know of any that’s not listed, you can share that info here in the comments or in the Wiki page as well. If you had to miss lunch or just tired from standing in the lines, maybe some of these could be refreshing.

    In the UK this would be absolutely unheard of. In fact the supermarkets over here are even beginning to charge their customers for their carrier bags! By the way those Krispy Kremes sound awesome!!!

    Man, I had no idea I could’ve gotten a free frosty or a chicken sandwich. I actually went to Starbucks on election day after I voted, but I decided to get something other than a drip coffee.

    I wonder how many customers come in to get a freebie, but decide to pay for something else.

    Some states cracked down on these promotions- technically it is illegal to reward someone for voting.
