It was the long holiday weekend here in the US and hence absence of posts over the last few days. I am catching up on the emails and the happenings from last weekend.

Chris at Blog-op has posted about the Blogging to Fame competition giving away $80,000 in cash prizes. The last time I embarked on the Technorati favorite game, I came across a few good blogs that I might not have found otherwise and hopefully some of you reading this found me through it.

I have no hopes of winning this with some heavy hitters in the running! But, the top award is at 32 votes right now and if I got the love from just the RSS subscribers (130+) ShanKri-la is about to blow the charts at Blogging to Fame. I know, but I like to day dream.

It’s alright if you don’t subscribe to ShanKri-la feed yet, your vote still counts. You don’t even have to leave a comment here if you Fame me, because the Blogging to Fame shows everyone who voted for us and rest assured that I’ll hunt you down and Fame you back!

Also, take the time to look at the blogs I have famed and show them your love as well. This is a good way to find new blogs as well as gaining new readers to your blog.
