StumbleUpon Update: StumbleThru sites
I was just talking about how StumbleUpon’s categories are broad in my last post. Now, this doesn’t address that particular topic, but definitely a plus as a feature.
Even though the StumbleThru page is accessible right now, they haven’t formally announced this feature in the home page yet. What they have done is to provide about 13 popular sites like Wikipedia, Flickr & Wordpress and you can StumbleThru the site to random pages.
Rafe Needleman at Webware has some more information on this feature and so does Techcrunch. I like the idea that both of them has written about. StumbleUpon opening up their API’s to everyone so that the StumbleThru feature could be added to every site that would like their reader to have this feature.
In fact, thanks to TechCrunch, anyone running a Wordpress for their blog with their own hosting can now have this feature on their site with this plugin.
I will add this feature in ShanKri-la as well tomorrow and I’ll update this post.

Well tomorrow turned out to three days later! My apologies but I have implemented the Random Redirect plugin. You should see a ‘Randomize‘ link in the top menu and give it a whirl. It’s actually quite fun even though we are fairly new on the block.
Hello newcomer, did I say welcome to ShanKri-la yet? Before you move on, just wanted to thank you for visiting and we hope you come back and see us again!

It works nice.. I checked it out in your site. I still haven’t gotten around to implementing it on mine.
